Tom Schmidt moved all the way from Michigan to find his bride of eighteen years, Holly Lynn in Dallas, Texas. They are the grateful parents of Tom Jr, Simon Peter, Jonathan, Miriam, Andrew, Esther, Joshua, Rebekkah and Joseph. The family engages in many fellowship related events and enjoys sports- especially Dallas Cowboy football, baseball and of course Laredo Bucks Hockey.

They served as missionaries from 1995-2004 with Mercy Ships. They came to Grace in 2005 and have enjoyed becoming part of a community of believers that knows what it means to “love God and make Him known.”
