Karen and her husband Steve
moved to Laredo in 1987 to teach
for UISD. After visiting Grace,
they fell in love with the
people's heart to reach Laredo
for Christ and served alongside
the founding families wherever
needed to help establish a Bible
teaching church here. When God
added Hannah and Jacob to their
family, Karen stayed home for
many years, returning to teach
high school English after Jake
went to school.
Karen joined the staff at Grace
in 2005 to serve in family and
women's ministry. In 2007
God brought Shataye, Esayas,
Sarah, and Tseganesh from
Ethiopia into the Paulson
family."I thank God for His
love for Laredo, for His mighty
hand upon this church, and for
the humble honor of serving
among such true believers. May
His name be glorified here.
